Thank you! I wish we could upgrade to the latest but we are locked in to 2024 at the moment. Yeah. Using Layer groups from AEScripts and it renames the layers like that. The text layer is that number. As for the expression, for some reason it just spits out the number ’12’ and sits there. This may be my culprit. If the slider is at 6 I want it to be at 100 otherwise make it 0. if (comp("MAIN COMP").layer("AUTO SCRIPT CONTROLLER - CONTINENT").effect("Slider Control")("Slider") != 6) { 0 }; else { 100 }; Motion Designer / DJ / Father http://www.lukaszpason.com http://www.krop.com/lukasz Lukasz Pason January 23, 2015 at 5:55 pm in reply to: Move Null to location based on slider The one you had suggested. =) ContNames = ["Cont1","Cont2","Cont3","Cont4","Cont5","Cont6",]; ContSel = thisComp.layer("AUTO SCRIPT CONTROLLER - CONTINENT").effect("Slider Control")("Slider"); try{ thisComp.layer(ContNames[Math.round(ContSel)-1]).transform.position; }catch(err){ [960,540] } Motion Designer / DJ / Father http://www.lukaszpason.com http://www.krop.com/lukasz Lukasz Pason January 23, 2015 at 5:42 pm in reply to: Move Null to location based on slider I am actually key framing the slider in this instance. I do have a question, there seems to be a frame of lag, is that something that is intentional in the code?
