what we need to do is finish the movie in premiere.. (please dont ask why).. just want to migrate the project to premiere form Avid and go from there.. any ideas? anyone done that before?

yes MXF files are on one drive, originals on another with same file names.. but originals were AMA linked
so what if we go trough resolve and then to Premiere? is that the way to do it?

yes.. its in 2k though.. also u seem quite knowledgeable about avid.. the entire movie was AMA link and then converted to 1:1 mxf.. playing back is a drag even with our maxed out mac system.. any clues? i mean even when it was AMA it was so slow to respond…

yes that did the trick.. thanks a bunch… but then on the left side near the track control panel the timed there is 29… its okay cause i won’t look there but i am curious why that is..

yes that son the top where it says mas24 i can see it.. but then i have timecode reader on a new video track and that one along with the one on left side of the timeline its not 24 its 29…

its crazy when i right click on the timeline and then get info it says timeline is 23.98…
how can i change the timecode on the actual timeline?

so how do i make a new title for the 2k project.. in 1080 i just make the titles, they are separate files and then drag them in.. whats the work flow with this..
