    Those aren’t dollar signs…those are NEW graphic indicators that there’s something different about the clips. Before, all you’d get is a green dot, meaning “something about this clip is different.” now, Avid tells you WHAT about the clip is different. S means SPATIAL, meaning that the clips are a different size than the project. Say 4K clips in a 1080p project, or SD clips in an HD project.

    You can turn these off or on individually in timeline settings if you want under “show adapters.” To elaborate, you can see up to three indicators:

    1. C for color (A LUT has been applied to the source)
    2. S for spacial (source raster does not match project or has FrameFlex)
    3. T for temporal (frame rate does not match project rate)
