    Hi,

I would use the reverb, but do not apply to the music itself.
Separate the last beat, and apply just to it on a separate track.
And apply the reverb on track level, not at the event level.
    Like this:

This reverb setting just works for me, but you can tweak it for yourself of course 😉

[Suhaib Siddiqi] “An hour ago, I rendered several videos, shutdown Vegas then it will not start. “

Try to reproduce the problem. Now that Vegas works again, render those videos again. Do the things again, and see, if it is a sytematic problem.
I assume, during the renders your PSU could supply sufficient power to the parts of your PC, and there was no overheating anywhere…

  • Hi,

If you find the bug -or get close to catch it- report to Magix please!
    So they’ll know about it.
Thanks (as I may be next victim of that bug… ???? )

    Hi,

[Suhaib Siddiqi] ” Nothing has changed on the system.”
    Are you sure?

If something worked well yesterday and stops to work today all of sudden, I blame a -probably- hidden automatic update.
Which can be either Windows update (it tricked me few times too), or an automatic update of the graphics dirver.
Both may conflict with Vegas, I remeber, someone here on the forum completely lost GPU support due to a driver update, which was not obvious…

If you moved out FileIO, the way of Vegas starts have changed, and this also may cause Windows prefetch work differently, when Vegas starts. I don’t know, just a shot in the dark.

  • You’re welcome, especially if I could help.
Just took my lunch break here (Central Europe)

  • Hi,

    In options / preferences.
    Then on the video tab:
“GPU acceleration….” set it to off, then restart Vegas.

  • Hi,

did you try to disable GPU support?
If that helps, download and give a try to Vegas 14. (Major bugs related to GPU support are fixed in the Magix version).
If GPU disabling does not help, you may want to give more details to the community about your project properties, source medias, and to what format you try to render to.

    Hi,

I used to decrease -or even minimize- the height of a track
to have more room for other tracks.
At a certain level those icons disappear.
Did you perhaps shrink a bit your tracks?

    Hi,

Get Rode ntg 2. Very good mic, I think it is in your budget.
My colleague has such mics, I know, it’s really great.
Or look for Boya BY PVM 1000L
That’s really cheap, but performs incredibly good (for the price). I have a pair of these and use for stage, when there’s no local sound to attach to.
I can send you a link how it sounds if you would like…

December 2, 2016 at 7:10 pm in reply to: getting rid of loop creation totally from timeline

    Hi,

    Ctr-Shift-L turns loop playback on/off.
There’s a button left to play button on the toolbar.
If it’s set to off, playback does not loop.

    Best regards
