    Thanks guys.

I tried the Trim option (thanks so much for that, I never knew it existed). I saved it but it didn’t make too much of a difference. It’s really strange because I have a previous version of the project that is much much smaller in size, but not too different inside. Can it have been corrupt somehow or something? Can that happen?

I haven’t got the new update so I’ll give it a go.

Don’t suppose you ever found a solution to this? I’m having exactly the same problem.

Anything over 4:20 creates that black frame.

It’s weird cos I have another menu thats around 50 seconds and doesnt have the same problem.

Video Bitrate: 50 mbps I Frame Only GOP structure
Resolution: 720×608 (we can accept 720×576)
Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (14:9 text safe)

    oh and also..

have been asked to supply with video bitrate of 50mbps. Is this the same as data rate? when I compress with Squeeze, wont let me give it more than 9570 kbps data rate.

woah, long time. just came across this so thought i would reply..

Used a Canon XL1s shooting on DV. edited in Premiere pro cs3 and then messed about with it in after effects. was the first time using the camera and any of the software so it was a steep learning curve.

currently trying to compress the latest video that we have made.

If i render it as a Quicktime vid with animation codec, will that meet those specs? or will i have to do something else to it?

    thanks
