So i just did a test and it looks liek color automatically creating a whole bunch of folders for each individual shot and when i test exporting it out individual quicktimes into each folder as opposed to just combining them all into one quicktime – what am i doing wrong?

AWESOME – you guys are all SO helpful – rock!!

So when shooting to tape on the P2 it only does dv25 huh – good to know.

PS – producer does nto know what format / frame rate this stuff was shot at and potentially there’s other footage on the tape which he thinks might be shot in different frame rates…

Hey thanks for the speedy responses – just a couple questions:

    1) Is gluetools a free plugin for fcp?

    2) There are 2 folders each containing about 5,300 dpx files (image sequences) using the provided edl’s i need to conform – can anyone explain how to do this either in Color or with the gluetools plugin?

    Thank You

    Hey Guys,

Reagrdless the request from the agency is for a PAL dvd and that’s that. I have to deliver it in this format i dont have a choice. Apparently the client specifically wants a PAL versions for testing in Europe and we cannot deliver NTSC.

I have compressor, AE, Natress plugin, Mpeg streamclip, etc but i do not have Episode.

If you guys or anyone else can please advise me on how best to do this workflow i would really appreciate it.

Also the background menu & submenu which i use in DVDSP are 720×540 – i am nto so sure how to make this work for a pal format project in DVDSP – do i need to change the psd size in Photoshop to 720×576 and if so how best can i do this?

    Thank you

    Lisa
