Another two questions.. There are two options for AAC.

Magix AVC/AAC MP4 or

MainConcept AVC/AAC

Would one be better than the other in this situation?

Your uses are totally different than mine. 95% of the footage I transfer isn’t even in HD (or widescreen) let alone 6K. (VHS tapes, Hi 8 tapes and Hi tech DV tapes) Ha ha. That being said what is the difference between the Magix forum and the Pro?

Totally agree with you. I have 16 and 12 and only use 16 for specific movie files (they are mov files imported from old 8mm film. They don’t work on 12) Every other time I have tried 16 even for a simple slideshow, it crashes or doesn’t render. (I have 2 different brands of computers/systems..both crash)
Never had an issue, ever with 12.

My bad…there wasn’t ever one. ☹
I was thinking of looking at files.

I’m having other issues with my cell phone dates..it’s giving me the date “modified” as the day I import it vs the actual date taken.

Vegas 16..just bought it two weeks ago.
Not sure what you mean by build# but it’s Windows 10 64 bit?

My reasons for not updating previously..
I guess I didn’t realize that my version was 8 years old..although I get notified by Magix about everyday…
I know something changed and I didn’t want a learning curve… ☺

So I bit the bullet and upgraded…One of my goals was faster rendering time so hopefully I’ll have so much free time I won’t know what to do with myself.

The new version works just fine..no errors.

I have the same problem Not the “Access denied” issue but the “Reason Unknown” issue.
and wondering if you ever found a solution?

I can render MPEGs, AVI etc so I don’t think it’s a permissions issue.
