Yes, I believe it was John’s chart. But I can make the other work. Thank you!

  • Figured it out! If I change the prepare/burn folder.. it works. I am just posting my results in case anyone else has issues.

    Thanks for your help.

  • This is getting weirder…because I am logged on as Administrator. 🙁

  • Ok. Tried DVD Arch 7 and it didn’t work..but I think I am narrowing down the issue. When I first started it gave me this message.. (I ignored it but I think this is the issue..but still don’t know how to resolve)

I tried to burn it and got this message. Which is really weird to me because last issue showed “F” drive, this shows “C” and I have no idea who/what “Jenkins” is.

So I think I have it narrowed down to some setting on the admin side got changed..researching that part.

PS I think the DVD player issue is totally separate. I downloading VLC media player and DVDs play now without any issue.

  • Great question. I prepares ok, just get the error when it burns.

April 23, 2016 at 11:24 pm in reply to: mp4 files lagging worth upgrade to vegas 13?

    Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
I tried the trial version of 13 and it didn’t make a difference.
I tried to uncheck the GPU acceleration and that didn’t make a difference.
Finally I converted all the files to avi and works great! No lagging. So both the IPad mov and the converted mp4 files were the cause.
Thank goodness. Thanks again for the help.

April 7, 2016 at 3:24 pm in reply to: Markers not carrying over but have sfl file

Update: For some reason the simple “Save project markers..” button became unchecked. Which is weird because it still made a sfl file.

Problem solved. Only wasted 2 hours on this!

November 11, 2015 at 1:32 pm in reply to: Basic Batch Audio Rendering Question

Ok..update again. I figured it out!
It is very important to double click (like you had said) to select the region. When you do, each region will say 1/2 then 2/3 etc.
I was just hitting the “R” button so it just came up with 1/1 2/2 and that doesn’t work.

Just posting this so someone else may not have to struggle like I did.

    Thanks for your help John!

November 11, 2015 at 1:09 pm in reply to: Basic Batch Audio Rendering Question

    I think I got up too early…
Got the R’s figured out…each song is separated by an R
But still rendering as one track.

    I am choosing: Batch Render
    MP3 128 kbps

Do you highlight? Do I chose Render project/regions etc?

I figured it would be render regions but it’s still giving me one track.
I don’t mean to be annoying but been working on this for an hour and can’t figure it out.
