stevem1928, that was really great!
I’m looking to do something similar… making the cover of a book close to end a sequence I’ve done.
Thanks to everyone that posted those great links to some great tutorials that directly cover this topic. They are going to be so helpful to me.ennoidyam,
Watch the links, be patient and good luck.

Also, something very interesting I just found out and should note is that no matter what I do, I cannot get Windows to successfully associate AE CS3 with the .aep file type.
I keep getting errors saying that the “whichever_one_i_try.aep is not a valid Win32 application”Whoa. What’s this all about?

I’m having a similar issue with the “Edit Original” selection when dealing with AE Comps in my projects (CS3 Production Premium user here, by the way). It too is grayed out… weird.
Anyone?

Hmmm… just a thought here, I wonder if you can add an Autorun.inf that tells it to load that html file.
I’m thinking while typing here, but what about using Encore’s Export to Flash option (CS3, of course) to generate the DVD menus and clips portion of your project, then code the html accordingly to select the playback of that Flash file? (forgive me, I have hardly any experience with html) Then everything would live on the final data DVD you would create… again, not sure if this is even possible at all… but they’re thoughts nonetheless 🙂

Oh, and since posting, I have been through some existing threads that cover Premiere’s performance with project file size in mind. Some things to consider.

Yes, I’ve looked into that plug-in, and sadly, it does not work when the tables in the InDesign document were created in InCopy and placed in the indd file. So yeah, placed, checked-out InCopy tables are not supported by Smart Styles.
::goes back to manually editing the next table, out of about 300, in the document::
🙁
