Thanks for your help, i tried the Photoshop way, but it didnt work as i thought it would. First i had this picture pic1.jpg , then i used the polar coordinates pic2.jpg and then i did the HDRI probe in Cinema pic3.jpg. Should i use a certain kind of image before i do the polar coordinates?

    Thanks

Im not sure what you mean by the projection, but the bump texture is a JPG image with 512 x 512 resolution, i have tried different sizes like 2048 x 2048 and 1024 x 1024 and 256 x 256, but they only change the shading a bit. But for primitives, the bump map can be seen very clearly. I have also tried to change the Extrude nurbs type to quadrangles with regular grid checked, but no change.

  • OK i figured it out, i had to my Extrude NURBS object -> caps, and on the “type” i choose Quadrangles and Regular grid

OK i figured it out with this tutorial: https://www.pixel2life.com/forums/lofiversion/index.php/t792.html

First it didn’t work but then i looked at the comments and found this “i had the same problem. open photshop, duplicate your render layer and delete to original so it is not locked as the background. then go to your channels tab, and ctrl-click the alpha layer. then select inverse (ctrl-shift-i) and then delete. it will get rid of the background leaving only your render. thats the only way i found to work and it cuts it out perfectly.”

Worked with a transparent model too
