That is so interesting about the show “Good Eats” I am working on a local Real Estate program and I am looking for a host that is funny and out going. I use the guy on “Good Eats” as an example of what I am looking for.

I’m sure that everyone has a different setup that fits them best. I shoot HVX-200 usign the HD modes but 95% of my output is SD still. I just use the G5 2.5 dual, FCP, and I have an Auoroa Pipe Pro SD card and use the SDI out to a DVCPRO 50 deck. I shoot most of my projects in the 720p. Edit just using the 24″ Dell monitor when in HD and then I drop it down to a SD sequence and check everything with my Sony 14″ trinatron.
On location I use a G4 laptop and can transfer P2 using the internal slot on the computer.
I have been happy with this set up. The next step is to go with a Kona 3 card. As far as I can tell the Kona and Black Magic are the same except the Kona card can do a real time HD to SD down convertion.

Interesting. I never heard of those cameras before. Perhaps there is a buz around this camera because of the price some where around $17,000 for the body. I didn’t see any other prices on the other sites for their cameras.

Cool. I need to be careful then. When I create something I like to drop in lights and animate it. I should try to just build the model and then start a new C4D project and merge it into that new project for animation then.

Ok, so if I understand you correctly I would just create a model and add texture maps and make it look nice and just save that project. I would do that for all of the models. Then later I could create a new scene and just merge the other .C4D into the one scene that I am working on, right?

You are so right this camera is very impressive. I have been looking at it for a while now and hope to see them at NAB. I’ll look at the other links.

Huh, I got it to work when I applied the texture to a flat plane. But it when it is on a sphere I can’t get it to work. Is there something that you need to do to add this to a sphere?
