Feature request: how about a get and put audio offset parameter? Hopefully it’s not a big thing to buildin and it eliminates all these timing problems in one feature.
I also like to combine this with an extra layers that use transfer modes such as screen / multiply and color dodge / color burn. In combination with the levels and gamma controls you should be able to build a cool developing effect.
A simple Tiff or Targa Sequence. Be sure to invert the matte while importing it into a Avid. Couldn’t be more easy… Using the Avid codec with QuickTime files is not always handy, but can be significantly faster during import.

I’ve never seen any piece of software that made a decent norm translation. I say, spend a few bucks in a place where the proper hardware is avalable to do it realtime and picture perfect. Saves time and dissapointing results / clients.
