It seems shat only the DLPro on Windows has this problem. Capture offset in the Deck Control works fine for the get and put of video. The audio however still is always 1 frame late, in both capture and put. Since the offset is not variable a workaround is easely setup, but on longer clips it’s a render issue.

I’ve seen some post that you guys @ BMD have the same Iwill daul opteron at your disposal, so please check into it!

Hope, you’ll fix this soon. Cheers Lars.

On FinalCut Pro 5 the decklink puts the audio 2 frames before the video when you put to tape.

    mmm,

Feature request: how about a get and put audio offset parameter? Hopefully it’s not a big thing to buildin and it eliminates all these timing problems in one feature.

    Cheers, Lars

Hi Matt and Luke from BMD,

I suggest the following solution for this. Have the user select the player to capture from and the recorder to record to, using a database of video tape machines.

By selecting a machine from a list of video players, would automatically set up all parameters needed to capture media correctly from that player, analogous to the “easy setups” BMD provides.

The same could be done with the video recorder.

This would solve many problems for us immediately.

It would also be great if you guys could provide, in deck control, the option to capture and insert back audio & video separately.

It would also be great if you guys could provide, in deck control, the option to delay audio from video in increments of video fields also.

    Regards,
    Paul Thurston

    Yesssss,

Selecting insert for video a1 a2 a3 and a4 separately is definetly a musthave.

    cheers, Lars
