    Jon,

thanks for your help, you’re very kind!
As 4TB hard drives are much more expensive, I’ll go with the 3TB ones. Would you recommend the Toshiba DT01ACA300?

Also I bought the Proavio as a used enclosure, so the RAID controller was given with it. It is an Areca 1680X, hope to get speeds like you mentioned:)
Later, I would like to buy one of your 16bay, 4K capable enclosures…

Even if you create content for web, you should calibrate you display.
Use “Custom Color” option, then calibrate it with a i1Display Pro, or have it calibrated with someone.

you can export grades – right click on the thumbnail, end export.
This will give you a DPX, and a DRX file, which – together – will work nice.

But there isn’t many grades what you can download, because – IMHO – Davinci users like to work out own grades from scratch.

Thanks, but the EB8MS isn’t on the page. Is it the same as for the EB800MS?

If you use the Database method, it won’t save a project file..
If you’d like to have a transferrable, importable file you’ll need to export the project, or use the disk based method.

Jake I wasn’t offensive at all, as you are with these posts. But it makes no sense to:
    – file a patent so no one can use R3DRAW decoding
    – sell a card for decoding at 6750$
    – and then enable GPU debayer

If you read through the reducer thread Jarred haven’t mentioned any exact thing about GPU debayer at all. He said they will have “something” for the GPU guys…
I’m not up to childish conversions, so I’m done here:)

I spend a lot of time there, but AFAIK GPU will only support effects in Redcine like blur, sharpen, grain, etc…
    RED won’t rutin their 4750$ card…
