I’ll keep my old OS on the current SSD, I was just interested if there’s any possibility that for example my software RAID0 will disappear on Yosemite..that would suck.

thanks a lot for your replies.
You were right.

The problem lied elsewhere (my display is a wide gamut display…so that’s why in any unmanaged apps the reds were crazy), but figured out.

also if I understand it correctly you’re transcoding twice.
I’d convert to DNxHD 120, edit it in AVID, and use them as master files (go pro, and 5D nitrates are lower than 120mbit/s)

Yes, mostly they are AdobeRGB, some if it are sRGB.

“How are you monitoring your output?”
I can monitor it through an external REC709 plasma, but only checked in Resolve GUI, I’ll get back to you about the external monitor.

Meantime, I found a “solution”, I don’t know if it’s a good one or not, but gave me good results so far. So I only had problems with graphics (these are very red).
I applied a Color Profile Converter set to “none” to the Display’s own profile. I set this to every graphic layer, now in the exported Prores files, everything looks fine in Premiere, Davinci, etc.
Am I messing up, or is this a good workaround?:)

Please read the configuration guide, you’re not using an external monitor until you play out the video through a BM video card.

If you’ve read the configuration guide, you should have seen, that the viewer, or GUI display shouldn’t be treated as a final image, nor resolution or colour wise.
I advise you to get a Blackmagic video cards – intensity, or ultra studio, or decklink series – and get a monitor. On an external monitor, detail and resolution will be fine.

right click on the sequence, ‘commit multicam edits’, export AAF, success!
