AFAIK proxy generating is only of image sequences (like 4K DPX)
for real-time redcode grading, try to lower the debayering settings -
you need a decklink extreme 3D, or an ultra studio for sound output, you can’t use your computers audio output in v9.
Hope that changes in v10 (wink-wink) -
Hi,
the easiest way is to bring these images into Davinci Resolve as a reference, and use the scopes.
But as far as I can tell, these pictures have deep blacks, they are desaturated, but the guy haven’t pushed the highlights to the max (that’s why they look neat) -
it was the 120GT…don’t use that for GUI!

If you’ve searched this forum, you would have seen that this is how things are.
Only thing you can trust is the SDI/HDMI output from Davinci resolve.
If you render to a file (let’s say h264, or prores), and you will open it up in three different applications, you will see three different picture. -
there are forums on the COW about this question.
At the end, everybody will tell you that it is not a real solution… If you have the money for a HDTV, then spare some more for a HP Dreamcolor, or a used FSI, or a PF, or BT series Panasonic plasma. -

if you want to simply duplicate a timeline, select all the clips, copy, and paste it to a new timeline?

My way for doing this is simply add a new video track, and keep the original video at track 1 (in case of you need to export it to somebody), and put the VFX shot at track 2. After that you can simply copy the grade to the VFX shot.
