I’m having the same problem at the moment, my radial wipe centre stays in one position ( the position where the effect is placed IN the precomp ) when moving the precomp around.

December 22, 2014 at 3:35 pm in reply to: Which version of after effects has the blue keyframes because I’m never updating..In the update, is it also possible to change the ‘bigger’ look of the fonts and spaces of the interface ? After effects cc 2014 seems to take over more space than needed, which comes with unneeded scrolling and less layers visible than before.
The first versions of After effects CC didn’t have this issue as i recall … -

December 18, 2014 at 11:22 pm in reply to: Lay out after effects is to big, seems not right … How to fix ?But i just dont get it, why only in AE change the scaling/resolution/size…
So you are sure this scaling thing is the same as in your AE ?I just remembered…. the first CC version i had installed , was a year ago and first i used the trial version, and here it was all just fine .
( not the color problem, but the scaling and so on )so.. is it possible to go back to previous versions ? im going on a quest again 🙂 ….

December 18, 2014 at 10:54 pm in reply to: Lay out after effects is to big, seems not right … How to fix ?Hi ! Thanks for your response. I can imagine its hard to see through a screenshot from my computer. Because everything fits, but CC is taking way more space , bigger font, more space around text and panels …
So i tried this to make myself more clear.
I installed cs6 again to show the difference, hope you see what I mean, because something is off and it is very anoying to work like this …Left is CS6 and right CC
A big difference in the scale of starting screen ( the rest of CC is just fine and small like I had in CS6, except now in AE )
In CC i can see less layers, so the lay out is taking up more space.
In CC Biggers panels, biggers font, less effects to show – so more scrolling
So, anyone know where to look for ?
In all the other CC software the fonts are good, it all looks like CS6 but in AE it looks like there is some issue in internal scaling or resolution problem …( i didnt have time to worry about the color yet because this is more anoying for me … 🙂 when this is fixed i will maybe start to fall over the new colors !

Ok! And how can you see in the comp which will become the i-frames after compression?

Well, ok. Nice that it is possible.
But ofcourse my question is How to do it.
I mean replace.
I don’t mean, delete the original and place a new one.Like you can replace a source file in After effects for example, so it takes over all properties.
