Which quicktime preset? There are many.

YOu say through Premiere, did you Adobe Media Encoder? What is your deliverable (final destination)? that will really determine your encoder settings.

What codec did you use to render from AE? If you have not, try the animation codec or a high quality Prores. then import that file into PrPro.

    (edit)
I just reread your OP and realized you were speaking of exporting from PrPro.
Before anyone can offer any practical advice you should share your sequence settings and your workflow with settings you used in AME

Responding to Gerald, I find the same behavior on my machine that I cannot do much of anything else, even browsing the web quickly while AME is running a job. My specs are rather paltry compared to the OP so I would expect that is normal behavior if your memory pool is heavily weighted towards the running Adobe apps.

Adobe handels the allocation of memory for the installed apps, you can choose how much or little goes into this pool as opposed to how much is reserved for other applications.

Since you are not experiencing kernel panics i would guess that the installed sticks of RAM are also not the problem. In you memory Prefs, how much of your 32GB of RAM are shared by the Adobe apps and how many GBs are reserved for other applications?

The only import options for the title tool is PNG or TGA. You cannot import a file to create a templet using anything else, please understand that I am only sharing baswed on my limited knowledge of the program and someone else may know how to do this.

in PrPro click title in the menu and open “based on template. In the template chooser there is an arrow on the right side with a pull down. This is where you would import files to create a template and only the title tool can create a valis template file so your workaround would not work.

Does PrPro just crash and quit or are you experiencing Kernel Panics causing your whole system to go down. You will see decreased performance if your memory pool settings are not allocated correctly.

Something to try is to troubleshoot application by application and see if you can identify which portion of your workflow is causing the crashes.

I am going to go out on a limb and guess that you have a bad stick of RAM in your system. I could be wrong but you could play with the RAM config and amount.

When you did your installs did you install PrPro first after the OS?

If you are not using Something like dynamic link you will have to render out the logo reveal from AE as a clip and then design a preset move in PrPro to use for the txt elements. It might be worth it to design the template in AE and then teach the other editors how to replace the txt.

Then all the editors would have to do is drop this AE comp into PrPro with Dynamic link for the text builds.

If they can use motion they will be able to understand how to do this in AE.

To the best of my knowledge the title tool in PrPro does not work with motion and you cannot add key frames, i could be wrong

Is the motion in the template you want to create or not?

May 24, 2013 at 2:38 pm in reply to: Fixing shaky/distorted footage from concert

Talk about “Fix it in Post” first thing I would do is invest in a more robust tripod if you are going to continue to record this type of event. You will need to fix this is AE with compositing and will take some time. You could try the warp stabilizer but my guess is that it will not help with this, I could be wrong.

Is your source footage interlaced? Good luck.
