Ideally id like a way to also be able to resize/reshape the quad for each position change.

Update. I have found out that it was choosing my sound card as the audio device that caused the crash.

The reason I ask is that I have a number of 2d textures I am creating in After Effects, however these are designed for projection onto a sculpture made up of 3 archways, so in AE I have masked out the texture and distorted sections in 3D to show what it looks like when its mapped to the sculpture.

For instance this is how I have it setup in AE:

The reason I want to edit the final composition in premiere is because I am making lots of small edits to a sound composition, its just not working in AE with the new preview engine as far as I can work out.

Is some way I can edit a 3D mockup in premiere and output the corresponding 2d texture? Is there a similar 3d masking feature as in AE?

im really looking for some technique or plug where sections and tears of both images will get displaced and mished and mashed, so half way through all you are seeing is an indistinguishable strange abstract scattered soup of the two images. I bit like an abstract contemporary painting. The closest reference I can think of would be the dvd corruption effect where the pixels get transfered across the different scenes. But not sure if this can be used with images… Any suggestions would be great!

If I also click on the 3D flag effected image file in the comp viewer it changes size every time I click on it to the proper size, then when I unclick it goes back to the distorted stretched size.

If this is any help, I just created a composition in After Effects CS4 and added 3D flag 1.5 to a layer. If I open up that CS4 project file in CS5 it automatically replaced the 3D flag 1.5 with 3D flag 2.0 hoever there are no sizing bugs and everything works fine. Strange??

I will be using this method to continue on this project as the deadline is very soon.

Thanks Greg but the reshape effect looks like a pretty hefty process and I have 70 flags that I need to morph…. Any other suggestions?
