Place the position bar over the audio clip and go to audio clip mixer and adjust the slider to get the desired volume. Playback from the previous clip to make sure the volumes are a good match.

  • On a Mac, go to your home folder-Documents-Adobe-PremierePro-11.0-Profile(Mac or User name)-here you’ll find the .kys file.

I just tried it. Same problem. When loaded in the source monitor, just shows a freeze of the first frame. When I stop recording and the file is closed, no problems. But growing files don’t work. Both AVCi50 and AVCi100.

    Hi Jamie, Peter,
I use Softron Movie Recorder with PrPro CC to edit growing files. Always ProRes 1080i50. Was using MR 2.5. For a few years. All was well until the previous release of PrPro (not the current one). I was alwYs getting an error ‘Adobe player error’ or something like that. Used to drive me nuts. Softron said it had to do with Adobe. Asked here. Didn’t solve my problem. But no problems on a file that was closed, only on growing files. I had to upgrade MR to ver 3 for MXF file capture. No problems at all since then:) Something must’ve changed in the way the app does things. Also using the latest release of CC. Will try AVCi100 and let you know

Wait for Ripple Training’s tuts. By Alexis Van Hurkman. I got their Resolve 12 tutorial. Really, really good. Alexis kinda consults for BM on Resolve.

For over 20 years, I’ve always done frame rate conversions through a hardware box like a Teranex. No problems whatsoever. I always found software conversions problematic. If you can find a facility who do conversions, would solve your headache. Shouldn’t cost much either and would be well worth your cash.

  • I personally installed on my MacBook Pro and it runs just fine. Over at BM Resolve forums guys are reporting similar problems. What seems to solve the issue is switching off wifi/internet connection and then starting the app. Give it a shot:)

    Couldn’t edit my earlier post.
I forgot to mention that I use a ton of plugins. I go crazy whenever a sale is on. Am waiting for the NAB sales/specials:)

    I get you Jerry:)
Just yesterday, went to a client’s place. They’re still using FCP 7. Had my MBP with me. Opted to work on my laptop with FCPX instead of FCP 7. Whipped out the promo really fast. Clients were super impressed by X. They’e upgrading all their 4 suites to PrPro soon. Now, they’re getting X too:)
Have fun mate. People are here to help you out:)
