Post a screenshot of your sequence settings. You should have 5 channels of audio in your multichannel output sequence.

    Hey Glenn,
Any plans of making this work with both Resolve and PrPro? Would be great for a lot of freelancers:D

Hmmm… with ProRes 422 shouldn’t be a problem. What is the available RAM on your MBA? The drive is a single, USB 3 self powered drive?
Generally, ProRes 422 on a external RAID would be the best. And 16GB RAM. Can you post a screenshot of your ‘About this Mac’? Would like to know what GPU and RAM you are running.
I live in Singapore. Time zone +8GMT, that’s why the late replies:)

  • Almost all of them. just change it in the mode. Hope this helps:) In fact, almost all of us use manual exposure and manual focus when shooting video. Auto focus is a boon for vloggers. But manual exposure is pretty important while shooting video.

What’s the codec? Frame size? How is your external drive connected to your MBA?

Convert to a decent editing codec. Like DNxHD.
Is it USB 3? Not a RAID, I suppose. And a GPU with 1 GB RAM?!!!! Not good at all.
If you’re making money out of it, get a decent Thunderbolt RAID, transcode the footage to a good editing codec and upgrade your GPU to something with 4 GB RAM.
I’ve always been on a Mac. I would use MPEG Streamclip (free) to transcode to ProRes 422 LT (or ProRes 422) and edit the converted files off a 4 bay Thunderbolt RAID.

    Hey Marc,
I always make a compound clip of the edited music track so that these things don’t happen. The clip that the second piece of music is attached to is moving when you delete the marked video clip. It won’t happen if the music is a compound clip and the clip is attached to the very first clip. Hope this helps.
