You’re passing the file off for color correction in Avid? You might try exporting an AAF from Premiere Pro and see if he can import it on the Avid/Mac side. Otherwise, he’s going to have to create an add edit for every cut in your piece in his editing program before color correction. Every individual clip needs a separate treatment. And that won’t be too pretty.

You’re going to need expressions for for bouncing and jiggling.
Hopefully, someone can point you to an expression that would be suitable for you.
If not, you can go to the Effects and Presets panel menu and choose to Browse Presets. You can then look in Bridge for Adobe After Effects > Templates and look for the Expression Sampler and open it. The project opens in After Effects with a number of comps that should give you an idea for the expression you’ll need.
You can also ask questions on the After Effects Expressions forum: https://forums.creativecow.net/adobe_after_effects_expressions

October 4, 2011 at 6:57 pm in reply to: FCP to Adobe And Loving it! that said some questionsWith snapping enabled, if you get anywhere near the playhead, you’ll cut right at the playhead. It doesn’t have a chunky “snap” animation like FCP, but believe me, you’ll cut at the playhead if you get near it and click with the tool.

Thanks for filing that feature request.
I’m sorry you didn’t get your answers on the Cow’s Premiere Pro forum regarding your image quality issue. I’m not sure what happened as we have many experts and even a few Adobe staff members hanging around there. I recommend a re-post if you wish to get it solved. When I see it, I’ll be sure to draw some experts to your answer.

Thanks Shane. Thanks Geert. Regarding audio limitations, please file a feature request for audio export: https://www.adobe.com/go/wish
About image quality on export, I’d need to know what your settings are.
On rendering when it should not, I assume you are talking about export here, as well?Kevin Monahan
