  • Opacity Stopwatch on by default. Why? Option to change?

This is driving me crazy, but I just realized that by default the opacity parameter, by default, has it’s stopwatch turned on. Why this is the case I have no idea, but now I have tons of opacity keyframes on all my clips, and what’s more, I’m not sure which are the ones I wanted and which I didn’t. The only option is to go through one by one.

Can anyone from adobe explain this decision? It seems very counterintuitive.

    Thx.

If you don’t like the current behavior of Premiere Pro, you can file a feature request: https://www.adobe.com/go/wish

    I’ve filed 31, haha.

Is that to say turning off the stopwatch by default is not an option? I figured it was a long shot…

At one point the stopwatch was turned off by default. But it caused so much trouble within Premiere it was turned on again.
