Well, you’ve been deleting an extra frame then all these years. Ah well, we all learn that mistake sooner or later.Like I said, the best way is to Mark Clip, and then do your ripple delete, etc. because Mark Clip marks out correctly. Try it. Otherwise, you have to move left one frame and then mark out.

Yes, that is a common behavior of all NLEs, in my experience. When marking out with the playhead, you have to move left one frame first. This is because the playhead is actually a full frame wide. Zoom way in on it and you’ll see what I mean. I don’t mark out with my playhead to combat this. A better option is to use the Mark Clip function instead of using the playhead when marking out.Avid Media Composer had an override when dragging the playhead and then marking out where you’d expect by pressing a modifier key.
