[Andrew Kimery] “Via Twitter I saw that Kevin Monahan from Adobe caught the flu at NAB and ended up in the hospital! He’s at home now and getting better, but, hell that’s no fun at all. I was worried about getting sick since I have a baby at home so I was washing my hands and using hand sanitizer like a mad man.”
Quite the ordeal. Yes, I’m still at home and recovering at last. At least I’m doing work from home. Thanks for your concern. Next year, hand sanitizer “like a mad man.”

April 27, 2015 at 11:34 pm in reply to: Premiere extremely slow – 2 Editors shared media – separate projects – TerrablockHi Frank,
First of all, place the media cache files on a fast local drive (not the Terrablock) and you should see an improvement in performance.Regarding sharing items from other projects over the network, you should do so via the Media Browser instead of File > Import. Just inspect the other editor’s project, copy/paste the things you need from there and then move on to the next project.
Hope that helps streamline your workflow a little.
Thanks,

Hi Rob,
I was able to paste a full crash log and steps into the bug report form here: https://www.adobe.com/go/wish If you can’t get the full crash log into the box, get as much in there as you can. The important info is in the “crashed thread,” so as long as that info is included, we’ll get the relevant info. You said that your crashing. What kind of Mac do you have, including CPU, RAM, GPU, and storage? What kind of footage is it?
You also said you have flickering issues. Is that with playback and export or just export? Are there any color correction effects applied to those clips or adjustment layers?
Thanks,

April 4, 2015 at 6:17 pm in reply to: NVIDIA Card with Yosemite and Premiere causing major graphics failureFor sure, Ingo. For now, use Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (OpenCL). I hope that works out while we await a fix.
