I could see why you’re having problems. VHS stuff should really be passed through a TBC to avoid instability while capturing. If you don’t have one and need big ol’ captures, it’s better to dub to DV first IMHO.

Use the Animation Codec with Millions + checked.

How did you “move” the project? With the media manager’s “copy” function, I’ve never had this problem.

Why not recapture from your original project file. Don’t tell me that the only version lived on the fried HD! 😉 If so, another reason to back up project files to iDisk or the like.

Thanks David. I’ll try that on my G3 running Tiger. It crashes quite a lot even though the G3 is approved.

Your project or your sequence was corrupt then. It’s a good idea to duplicate your sequences and project files from time to time (especially on long projects) to avoid this from happening.
