according to intels web site your processor does support this. Sounds like adobe’s install is flawed.

Sure it is pretty easy. grab the tab on the 2 dots in the upper left hand corner. Drag it out of the main window. ie drag it up to the main program bar of the premiere window. You will see the out line change to denote that it has been un docked. Now resize to you hearts content.

I kind of like the sticky windows. I have arranged them several ways, and save prefs for quick switching

    Try it

I confirmed this with adobe yesterday. I was trying to figure out how to upgrade my suite without spending too much money. I just upgraded premiere as an individual program 2 months ago.

The AVI files created with Adobe Premiere 2.0 and the XENA HS cards are not compatible with any other program except After effects 7.0. Adobe did not make available a general windows codec for reading these files. They used the fourc code of UYVY which corresponds to a microsoft implimentation of YUV, but did not follow there format.

Great Job Adobe!! add this to your failure to include capture of imbeded audio over the SDI and you have done the best slop job of implimentation I have ever seen.

It is the XENA SD11. Dual Xeon 3.0Ghz, 2gigs of ram, 2 terabyte SATA array. Massive Supermicro tower.

Works like a champ. I just can’t get the avi’s to work in anything else.

Well it actually works with more cards. Edited a quick spot today as a test. Very responsive, no crashes, ad great video quality. Just could not use the avi’s created in anything else.

come on some one has to know what codec is used. Why would adobe give us a file that we can not read in any other program? AJA has no clue what they did.

Not yet. He is complaining about how we just upgraded to 1.5 and it is a POS why should he spend more money. I have to come back and say this issue is definately fixxed. Is it? It was not one of their marquee “Hey we fixxed this” in their official list of improvements.
