    Yes. Upgrade Premiere to the 2020 version.

  • I have used aeroquartet many times for just this reason. https://aeroquartet.com/
    Download their little app and let it do it’s thing. They will then build a custom routine to recover it.

  • jumping in a little late, but I have some insight into doing this efficiently. what we do is run 2 premiere projects. The assistant has a logging project that is versioned twice a day. The Editor has an editing project that is versioned exactly like the assistant’s. When the assistant is through synching, binning, and pulling selects into a select time line I have a bin structure something like this:
    SCENE 25
    -> AUDIO
    ->25
    ->25A . etc.
    -> VIDEO
    -> VIDEO FILES
    SC-25-TK1 (Audio and Video merged or multicam file) etc.

    My assistant can then select the top SCENE 25 Bin and export the whole bin as a premiere project via: File -> Export -> Selection as a Premiere Project.

    I then can import that project with one bin or 10 bins into my editing project and it will maintain the organizational structure.

    So.. What would Bob do? I have a budget. It’s OK but I want to get the most bang for the buck so not cheap, but not Stratospheric. I would like to stay between 25K and 50K oh and I want it to just work I am too cranky to baby a hacked up storage solution. Yes I have talked to everyone that responded except for Lumaforge. I still feel like there is something I am missing. Why is the pricing all over the map? I even had one company charge me a license per 4 drives I would install in the system. That is just the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. The only one I have not checked out is Facilis.

    So I am running a Mac Pro 4, 8 core with 24 GB ram, 500GB System SSD, Nvidia 680 with 4GB, and OSX 10.9.2. My drive Array is a SAS Cineraid 16 bay rack mount that I have portioned into 2 raid 5 setups one with 8 TB, and the other with 16 TB, other odds and ends: Kona 3, and a Caldigit USB 3.0

    I am now on my third 90 minute plus project with lots of footage. The biggest thing I have found is to not to save anything, temp files, autosave, nothing on the system drive. Especially if it is a SSD drive. I use fast SAS 6G direct attached storage. I store everything on here. It makes a huge difference in load times. It’s not as fast as we all want, but it is no where near 30 minutes. Now Speedgrade from premiere on a long project is another issue.

    That must have happened in the last month, because they are listed on the 2014 line card. Also there website is still up and running as HGST. I know that WD bought them, but I thought they were operating as separate business units.
