I agree with both Tom and Scott. IF you have not done the training don’t teach.
Now that I said that. IF you are confident with your FInal cut skills as you say, and you are teaching a friend how to do basics that is one thing we have all done that. But if you are doing an official class and getting some pay out of it leave it to the trained and qualified instructors, Don’t you agree?

Or you can upgrade your final cut depending on your machine. To upgrade is not so expensive then your good to go..

I couldn’t agree with Steve and Shane more.
Personally with my AVCHD I keep the original SD card, I never re use them they are
so cost friendly and then I have a Hard drive dedicated to Backups of my SD cards. My Media Raid is then for stock or current media projects.

Call me crazy but the KiPro is one of the best tapeless recorders I have seen if you can swing it that is the way I would go.

I have not seen that issue, but just to make sure when you are exporting to a QT movie you are selecting to do it with all markers correct? from the QT pull down?

I have to agree with everyone. I have been using mine pretty much exclusivley with my Macbook Pro no flaws or hick-ups feel confident in knowing it will not fail you.

Hey there, been using the iohd and pro tools, seperatly however to date it would appear that pro tools just does not want to play with that piece of hardware. I’ve posed this question to people I now at digidesign, but nothing yet. Just keep in mind digidesign is an Avid company.

yes definatly. Kona drivers are out for the Lhi and Kona 3 if you are still on an IoHD you will need to hang on a bi more
