I have not experianced this I have installed a great number of then in systems since the release.
Try this, you can uninstall the drivers and install the NDD version if you have not already.

I can tell you from experiece that you will have no issues with the new Mac Pro’s Leopard or FCS.
I use these with a kona in my daily setup and I have configures multiple systems for clients as well.

well ther are a number of things you can do here. I would be looking at a Mac Pro a 2.66 or a 2.93 with 12 gig of ram and the 480 video card, and probably the 640gig HD for my main drive. And I would use the AJA Lhi card for capture and out to the multi format monitor. As to storage do you want to go internal, Fibre, sas, sata? when you decide that you can look at storage. I am personally partial to the NEC and Samsung monitors, as to a multi format monitor take a look at the Panasonic, not a bad price and a good quality.

I agree with Gary. Additionally what slot did they put your card in. I have heard of this problem. You mentioned partioning. I do not see a reason for that no need. But the reseller should have sufficently tested the machine before delivery.

You will not have any issues 7.6 is stable and most people I know are also using it with no issues.

the JVC GY-HM700 Camera is a great camera. I have had mine about 10 days, i got to tell you so far I am extremly satisified with it shot a short film for the 48 hour and I LOVE it it is smooth so far

not I. I’m waiting to hear the bad news or good on it first before i put on my personel machine.. However I did just set up a new machine and it has 10.5.7 w/updates and an Lhi and a sata card and the computer still freezes when it wakes from sleep. Something that was suposto be fixed in this update. Curious
