Thanks for input – I just downloaded Snapz Pro and will probably buy it…I take it I would just record whatever I need, take that into FCP and/or Motion.

But man the file is heavy GB’s for even under a 2 min screen capture…I guess one would just record in chunks, ie, just screen record your actions up to a 1:30 then cut and do another section?

Actually, how does Snapz compare with Cmatasia? I take it Camt has more choices re: file format and Snapz is only mov?

    Thanks

Great, Thanks – I called GoDaddy and they said they don’t host the kind of video that a person can click on and it plays. I wanted to create my own design with Dreamweaver, if so can I use iweb still or .mac?

What about FLV or mov for the files out of FCP?

This is what the report from Batch Monitor says:

Status: Failed – Final Cut Pro generated an error or unexpectedly quit. User aborted Media Server.

I have no idea what it’s saying as I’ve not aborted anything.

    Thanks

  • I actually split it down the middle – I have a new APPLE 23″ and a new DELL 24″ 2408WFP which has every connection slot including HDMI which I hook up via BlackMagic Intensity Pro card no back of Mac Pro…

Warning however, this set up caused me 1 week of start up problems, 30% of the time, the screens on boot up would freeze with a Black and white staircase effect and I spent days on the phone with both Apple and Dell and my reseller, who came out, swapped RAM, played with BlackMagic Card, put it all back, then simply swapped the DELL connection to the slot on the right and the APPLE on the left slot on back of my Mac Pro/nVidia 8800 card and that did it – this above set up must have the DELL plugged in the right slot, the APPLE in the left slot…I’m happy with this set up now.

    Thanks Jeff

Very helpful, so I right clicked on the audio track I wanted in the timeline, chose send to ST Pro audio file project, chose Process/effects, etc as yo said…played with the EQ, seems to work a bit, but now how do I save this – as Include Source Audio or Reference Source Audio? And how can I apply this same EQ effect on all 5 of my VO files without having to open each one in ST PRO?

    Thanks

Thanks for reply – I’ll try noise gate, see what happens…
