Would love to know the exact settings you did, I’ve played with it for a long while and it’s just not as good as even my Apple 23″ – if you have the time, what are your monitor settings for color, contrast, mode, etc?

    Thanks

Danke Schone Michael – I actually do have Intensity Pro card and do know about Flanders monitor…it’s just I wanted to get other pro opinions on what they have found useful re: computer monitors…

My Dell 2408 wfp went wonky for 6 months, Dell finally said OK, just sent me as a replacement Dell Ultra sharp 24″ 2410 but I and many others find it very tinted pink and green, many posts re: this.

So I wish Apple would make non-glossy 24″ cinema displays – I probably get 2 of those and be done with it. But until then, any other thoughts?

    Thanks

Oh, yes you got that right, sorry I meant LCD for normal computer use (MAC PRO) for lots of graphics and video editing using FC Studio 3…I know for viewing correct video color I need something like a $3-$4000 broadcast monitor.

Looking for two new/good computer monitors each under $1000. I currently have a 23″ Apple and a Dell 24″ 2410 (don’t like it – not crisp blacks and pink/green tinit). Apple one is OK but are there better ones for similar price? Would like 2 x 23″ or 24″, or up to 27″ but non-glossy…just wanted your pro opinions.

    Thanks

I’ve got a KATA rain bag, very nice, I suppose I could use that in snow, but anyone know about Sacthler fluid heads, if they freeze up below 32º or what precautions one should take for slightly below freezing shooting.

    Thanks

Just wondered since the manual says 32º-104º – never shot in that low temp and wondered before I go out and do so if 30º ish was pushing it for EX1R.

    Thanks

So is this part of a longer XDcam training video? If so, is it on the Cow someplace?

    Thanks
