Ok… looking like I will just have to create the presets and do it that way.

    Thanks,
    Ken

  • Not working on anything in particular at the moment, but this sounds like a wonderful thing to know also, and I too would be very interested!

    Thanks.

    Thanks Aanarav,

Been checking daily. Just went to the Adobe site, and downloading AE 7, however didn’t see anything for either Encore or P Pro, even refreshed my pages a couple of times. Is is possible I am missing something somehow?

    Thanks,
    Ken

    Gene,

As an aside, can you tell me where you found drivers, like USB for XP64? I got it from Microsoft, installed it, but then had trouble locating simple drivers.
    Appreciate any help.

Not the one I had seen before, but will go through it, and see if maybe it will help me out. Thanks for finding this one!

Any Idea on “Soon” ? I mean rough guess…. 1 week, 30 days.. I will definitely be upgrading my collection, but can’t afford to jump just yet, and going to the Seminar they are having on the 7th in San Francisco, and just might win one 🙂

I had a 3500, and had no problems. Recently moved up to the 3800 Dual Core, and still stable.

    Hewy Willie,

I am running an AMD Dual Core 3800. I have the entire Video Collection and I have not had any problems or crashes. I did a bench mark test before I upgraded from an AMD 3500, and saw some rendering time improvemnet. Not major though as I had hoped, although when I went from my P4 3ghz to the AMD 3500, it cut rendering of some things almost in half.
The only sore point I have is in changing from P4 on an Intel board, to AMD on a Nvidia board, I lost the ability to use my Matrox RT1000, been watching their posts hoping for some update, but nothing there yet.

    So…
    AMD 3800 Dual Core
    2 Gigs Ram
    multiple hard drives (1 SATA 250, 3 SATA 200’s)
2 IDE enclosures for swappable drives (usually 200’s)
    DVD Rom
    DVD DL writer

    Hope that helps some.

    Thanks Serge!!

Much clearer now. Funny thing is, I watched your Earth/Moon demo that you had created late last night (probably about 1AM actually) and it didn’t quite click with this. Now it does. I will play with this in a bit and let you know how it comes out.

    Thanks very much,

    Hi Serge,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Maybe I need to start with something more basic? When I open it, do I use “open as layers”? When I “select invisible”, nothing shows up in any set, and I guess if it did, at this point I wouldn’t know how to assign it to a new set. Feeling very frustrated right now.
I have looked through the many wonderful tutorials you have here, but is there something that starts with the very basics? I don’t want to be wasting peoples time with the simple stuff, and I want to have an undestanding of how it should all work. I also just got Illustrator Class Room in a book, will that get me where I need to be to learn how to create things like you created?
As always, thanks for all your wonderful help.
