I usually just do a search in the main folder for the file extension. example .mp4 and copy and paste those into a sub folder. import that.

You might want to try adaptive deinterlacing instead of field blending deinterlacing. Autodesk cleaner has this and other options..there may be a demo download. Also if you output an uncompressed or lagarith etc. 1080i .avi file you have many deinterlacing options in virtual dub which is a free program.

You might want to check to see if there is a firmware update for your
dvd/bd drive. This could solve your problem. It did with my LiteOn. -
Use the convert to flash option in encore… It will build a good looking dvd alternative identical to your dvd. Then you can post it to
dropbox or whatever…. -
I agree… if you had edited everything in 1080i like the original footage it would be pristine…. when you go to a progressive format for computer playback..try to use adaptive deinterlacing.

That’s a good thing to know.. I normally have to crop off the top 2 and bottom 4 to make it work correctly.
