I love your tutorials and look forward to more. Do you think there will be any in the future using both Motion and After Effects together. I would just like to see how they can be used together.
There are many tutorials online that show AE with particle plug-ins and the like but I have yet to encounter any that use this powerful tool from Apple. -

What I mean by Lightwave is more adapted towards Photoshop is, from the Photoshop side I see more talk of Lightwave other than Cinema 4D. It doesn’t appear to be as motion centric as Cinema 4D.
Again i’m just trying to get a feal what is the best choice and were the most user group support base is. -
With the recent completed acquistion of Macromedia, I am speculating that the update will be the first quarter of 2006. If you have gone to Adobe’s website recently, you will notice that they are now bundling Macromedia software with the creative suite. A video package is “comming soon.”
Now my next question is what will this package look like?
On the PC side obviously: Premire, Audition, Encore, GoLive/Dreamweaver, After Effects, and Flash.
But on the Mac side all you have is: GoLive/Dreamweaver, After Effects, and Flash
I would asume a price difference, but who knows -
Is the compostion linked to an Illustrator file? Do you have it? If you do, do you have a copy of Illustrator?
You could open up the file and A) remove the pattern B) Edit the pattern or C) expand the area with the pattern to shapes and remove the problem areas. This all hinges again on if you have the file and have a copy of Illustrator.
Some creative garbage mates in AE with soild backgrounds to roto to might be an quick and dirty solution. -
I don’t know if this is the “professional” way of handling it, but I make markers in either what I call a master layer (a solid that is locked and is not visible) or the layer above so I can match the keframe up with the marker.
I can also write in the label what I am keyframing.
I’m sure there are some other tips -
This is just a hunch, but I thought one could achieve the Squigglevision look by finding a handwritten font (or just drawing the words with vector paint) and then apply the turbulance filter and keyframe several times.
I know you can make a static squiggle look in Illustrator by applying the distort effect to an object. If you were to animate (key frame) that over time I image you can get the look.
Just a hypothetic suggest not actually tested. -

Just a side question:
Will you be switching Platforms too? Premiere is not availble on the Mac.
FCP of course is but not on Windows.
Just something to consider if your getting plug-ins too. -
This is for Animate Text 2 not Animate Text 3D. The later I swear was for Mac a month ago.
