January 21, 2012 at 4:15 pm in reply to: DVD Architect – error preparing Blu Ray image – [MUX_SN_E_IO]Hey all. I created a ticket at SCS about this issue. It appears that they do not know about it or are working on it and have not found a solution or haven’t published it yet. Also, find the image/screen capture I submitted.
The following is my submission to them:
“After rendering in Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0 (283) and attempting to burn to BluRay disc in DVD Architect Studio 5.0 (157) using a DIGISTOR ‘DIG-79102 BD/DVD WRITER’ I receive the following error:
“An error occurred while preparing compilation [OK] [No Details]
File name: N/A
Status: StatusCodeTable.xml Error Code:[MUX_SN_E_IO]”
I have searched the internet extensively and have found many forums with other users experiencing the same issue. Is there a resolution I have not discovered or is this an issue your programming team is working on?
Thank you for you attention to this issue.
Kelly Basden”We can only hope for the best. I’m on it with you all.
God bless,

January 21, 2012 at 1:48 am in reply to: error pops up when trying to burn bluray on dvd aOh yeah. I have this thread bookmarked and I check for updates daily. If you hit search in Google with [MUX_SN_E_IO] you will find all of the posts everywhere where people are having this issue and are waiting for a “cure.”
When you get the error notification, notice at the top of the window it says “An error occurred while preparing compilation.” My guess is that preparing/rendering in Vegas as a video and an audio file, two separate files, may be the clue, but that DVD Arch may not be consistent with it’s final mix. I have burned two BluRay discs with DVD Arch, but can’t anymore. Don’t know.

That’s the first thread about this issue and where I will post a resolution if I find one.

If you look at the floor to the left of the violinist (our right) there lies her shadow. The shadow on the wall may be hers, but was shot at a different time and imposed into this piece somehow.

Have you attempted to burn to BluRay with any other capable applications and found the same issue?

January 10, 2012 at 4:09 pm in reply to: DVD Architect – error preparing Blu Ray image – [MUX_SN_E_IO]Since yesterday, I have burned successfully, a two hour long movie to a BluRay disc using the Vegas file and the Arcsoft application that was shipped with my Digistor burner, without incident. The video file is in an .avi container. So where this takes me is that I see the [MUX_SN_E_IO] issue as a DVD Architect issue exclusively.
Meaning that the original render of the video from Vegas Movie Studio was the right configuration or the Arcsoft Total Media app has the resolution to the issue.
As is everyone else, I am waiting for SONY to step up to the plate and knock it out of the park.
Arcsoft does not allow inclusion of user created graphics other than the menu background.
What is really baffling to me is that when I received shipment of the Digistor deck last month, I proceeded to create and burn a BluRay disc of old Superman episodes, 6 in all. There was no issue. Then I formatted my hard drive this month and now have the [MUX_SN_E_IO] issue.
