    Help!

I’m trying to burn Blu-Ray HD material to my Buffalo Blu-Ray burner/player, but in the Tools > Burn Disc > Blu-Ray Disk, my Blu-Ray drive is grayed out, meaning it won’t write to it.

Also, the Burn Image Only radio button is highlighted, and I can’t un-highlight it.

The Tools > Burn Disk section recognizes my Blu-Ray player for everything else, like DVD, Video Disk, audio, etc. Everything recognizes my Blu-Ray burner except when trying to burn Blu-Ray disks. And I’m using quality Sony BD-R and BD-RE disks.

Architect has no problem burning Blu-Ray material to my Blu-Ray disks.

And I have already unchecked the “Legacy Compatible” button in the Options/Preferences/CD Drive section that was suggested elsewhere on the forum here, but no luck.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Have you attempted to burn to BluRay with any other capable applications and found the same issue?

Hi Kelly. Yes, I’ve been using Architect to burn all my Blu-Ray disks.

But one wrinkle to my above. I’m trying to burn MVC (3D) files, which is a claim of Vegas Pro 10d and e versions.

Since posting, I’ve found a work-around. I can create the MVC ISO image using Vegas in the stereoscopic 3D project, then close the 3D project and burn it to Blu-Ray disk from any normal, non-3D project. In other words, I create the MVC ISO image from the 3D project, then I open any non-3D project and select Tools > Burn Disk > Blu-Ray Disk, but then I click the option to burn from existing image, rather than burn the current project, and use the saved MVC ISO image.

I assume just a bug with Vegas Pro 10e. Frustrating, but guess I’ll have to live with it.

    Thanks much for responding!
