mostly worried about the color right now. the lights might work, but I’d rather replace the colors.

Thank you. I figured out the audio issue – I hit the “.” key on the numeric keyboard and viola, audio preview. But them you have to do that for each new render (or each time it plays) so a bit annoying but will work.
Also, you wrote:

Is there an autosave vault? Can you simply open up an older version of the project?

Solved. For me, at least. I was navigating to the Library folder in my user home folder. Instead start at Hard Drive/Library/Application Support/ Final Cut Pro System Support/ Plugins.

I am having the same problem, but “Show Package Contents” is not an option when I right click on the Final Cut Studip folder. (in Library > Application Support). I’m running OSX 10.5.8. Is there another way to find this option?

What they are telling you is completely incorrect. There is a lot of royalty free music for purchase on the internet. The Music Bakery is one good, more expensive option, but there is lots of royalty free music cheaper than that. Explain that purchasing this will be part of the cost of the creating the video for them and get it in writing that they will reimburse you for expenses. Or, if they really really want a specific song, you could tell them that they need to acquire the rights for you to use it.

Hey Tom, can you describe this more? I am trying to create credits with Boris Title Crawl in FCP 7. I want the crew’s title’s on the left and their names on the right, and lined up down the middle. In the fcp generator this works with an asterick (sp?) but I cannot find a way to do it in Boris. Many thanks.
