Even worse, now it’s creating a duplicate thread of anything I post, even this thread here — in the PluralEyes section.

Pluraleyes is designed to be used before editing. I assume the high-quality audio clips are much longer than the edited rough audio, which is likely to cause issues.
I’d say the only way to know for sure is to download the trial, try it and see what happens.

My thought:
Use a set of nulls to define a virtual “path” and use expressions to move the particles along that path. This wayyou can reshape the path by moving the nulls. You can even do 3D “paths” this way.

If you want to just stretch them to 16:9 (1920×1080), then you want to create an action that does that. Image>Image size… unlink the width and height and input 1902 pixels by 1080 pixels as the target size.
If you want to 1440×1080 plus have black bars on the sides, you want to increase the canvas size instead of the image size to 1920 by 1080 with you action.
Then batch your originals through that.
(Note: make sure you’re not saving over your originals by selecting a different folder to save the results in, rather than using the “save” command.)

I’d say the only thing you want to do in Photoshop is the adjustment results images. I would:
1) Do screen grabs for the results of applying the curves to a LAB image
2) Fade between these stills in AE
3) Fake the Photoshop curve adjustments animation in AE

If you don’t have a file left at all, it is not really an Illustrator question, rather a question of how to restore a file that has been deleted off a computer.
