Hello Joshua,
I saw Caldigit’s USB3 expresscard today in Akihabara.
Is there a path for BM to make this compatible with Pocket UltraScope, so that we can use Pocket UltraScope with some MacBook Pros?Kaku Ito

Knock, knock?
It would be so awesome to get a portable pocket ultrascope working, so any development?

The same for the Apple Color. Has to stay with 1.3.5 until the FCS installer gets updated. For Resolve, hope there would be update for the latest 1.4.7 driver even before version 8. I have so much faith in Blackmagic Design lately.

Similar issue I have occasionally is that FCP crashes upon booting up.
I found this happens if the volume I had assigned had some problems then it crashes.
So, you might wanna see the scratch volume that you set for the capturing is healthy or not.Kaku Ito

September 15, 2009 at 1:17 am in reply to: Does Multibridge Pro support ProRes4444 output on the dual-link?Thanks Kristian,
I made a backup plan and made a uncompressed RGB version in my x6 drive RAID and took it to the studio before the compositor start working, but took the 7.3 driver software anyway, then install that first…..
Installed 7.3 and ProRes4444 timeline transferred to HDCAM-SR nicely. It was 47 minute long timeline and mastered to tape without a glitch. Now this is a game changer. Without the alpha channel, ProRes4444 is very small. Even the portable RAID0 drive like Caldigit VRmini would play this.

Oh no, this driver was only supporting 10.6.
Are you coming out with separate update for 10.5 and FCS3?

HDV 1080 always records at 1440 x 1080. HV20’s CMOS has the resolution of 1920 x 1080, but the recording HDV format is always 1440 x 1080. That goes for any other HDV camcorders (except 1280 x 720 format).

December 5, 2005 at 2:46 pm in reply to: AJA Kona LHe with HDV (HDR-FX1) at overscan monitoringActually, it is happening on none crossing application. We tested with the tapes we shot with FX1, HC1, A1 and XLH1 and happened with every one of them.
The vertical line appears on extreme right, and I found out it is outside of DVCPRO HD footage pixel area.
We switch the clips back and force, using a piece of paper, hide the HDV clip except the last vertical line, then switch the clip to DVCPRO HD clip that is provided by AJA for demo purpose, the DVCPRO HD clip’s edge does not reach the same pixel area.
So, I guess it is not so much problem, it’s outside of underscan anyway. But we might have to watch out when we rescale the size for PINP. Maybe this is something to do with some conpensation for pixel ratio or anamorphic picture ratio?
