Agreed, I am happy to pay a price for professional software, but with repeated bugs it really makes me think again about the subscription fee

Got in touch with adobe customer support, looks like it was my bluetooth keyboard, after turning this off and on a few times the problem seems to have been resolved.

It was a masking issue – I feathered the mask and all my troubles went away.

Okay if it is not possible for this to happen do you think I have done something wrong with my mask?

I’ve booted off a separate drive as I don’t only use my laptop for editing and Avid and FCP were taking up space I needed. I have however just got desktop so il switch back to the internal drive to boot off. May I ask what the specs you have that work best? I have FCP Studio 5 and Avid 3.

Thank-you very much for the help. I have tried several sequence settings which have improved the quality some, however I am relatively new to editing, are there any sequence settings you could recommend? I recorded from SnapzProX at 25 fps, I am not sure how to check the resolution it records at though?
