Keyframe the opacity in the timeline from 0% to 100% in one frame. Or simply cut the layer’s snow alpha video. Wait, is your snow taken part of your original footage or is it an alpha footage with only snow placed over your original footage?

Thx for the info Kevin, maybe that will be helpful in the COW Archives one day.
There are lot of self-responded posts these days, it would be very very useful to go back and reedit and/or delete our own comments ans posts. Maybe these features aren’t available because we only need our Name and E-Mail adress to login (wich are very seen by the public, like in my signature)?

Hmmm…might want to play with the Alpha Bias there.

Well…If I were you I’d put my Emitter point on the bottom of my comp window and turn up the gravity. Then…er…depending on how realistic you want your fountain to be, I’d used it as a displacement map. But, maybe not the best idea. Maybe you’d want to put the Motion Blur up, and the particle feather too.
