Thanks for all that, but simply, on the dop-down on my ‘saved window’ tab, clicking on ‘reset to saved layout’ seems to do the trick (at least at the moment).
If you use ‘markers’, then you can jump to next one, or name each marker according to the group of clips, keep up the list of markers, and jump to any named one.
I would try syncing individual clips to the long audio, rather than a long sequence. Then cutting the synced clips into a sequence.
Probably only 2 at a time, but maximum 3 clips – the relevant cam A, cam B and the long audio.
I used the Paltex controlling a 3-machine U-Matic suite for quite a few years.
The edl system meant you didn’t have to hand write the Time Code numbers.
If you have all the tracks selected, hitting the key frame button will mark all the tracks in the same place.
If you have an ‘In’ and an ‘out’ around a number marks, then moving one of the marks up or down will move all the marks.
