Issues waveform syncing large amounts of media in timeline
I am trying to sync many different video clips to a few long .wav files. I am attempting to use waveform sync in a sequence, cutting in all clips from each camera with the audio clips. The waveform syncing is taking several hours to analyze, and when it’s finally finished it’s created a timeline with about 40 video tracks with many clips from each camera stacked on top of each other, most of which do not match the audio. Please see screenshot bellow for an example of what the timeline looks like after the waveform sync. Is there just too much media for the timeline to handle. Appreciate the help in advance?

I don’t see an image posted there, but as an FYI timeline waveform sync was designed for “grouping” and less so for double system audio syncing if that is what you are trying to. That may explain some of the results, but not all of them.
If you repost the image, can you also post the “before” timeline as well?

Do your video sources have audio as part of the master clip on which to sync with?

Yes there is camera audio for all the video. Even when I try to waveform sync A-cam and B-cam without including the wav audio clip they don’t sync correctly and dozens of tracks are created

I would try syncing individual clips to the long audio, rather than a long sequence. Then cutting the synced clips into a sequence.
Probably only 2 at a time, but maximum 3 clips – the relevant cam A, cam B and the long audio.
