How do I know if DVDSP is re-encoding it??? I don’t think it is because it only takes about 10-15 minutes to build the Video_TS file.

Yes, those above are why we use the imacs. We also display our edits on those screens (looping) and the imacs look sleeker and more “presentable” than a macbookpro. Plus the one I just got has a 500gb harddrive in it. Pretty cool!
