As far as I know you have first to set up your system hardware properly, means first installthe harddrives and create your Raid. Attention: I lost 2 months ago two projects because in my Raid0 one HDD crashed. If you work commercially use Raid5.
Storm Edit, Storm Video, Storm Audio software package: Those are outdated softwarwe packages from Canopus. I think they are not supported any more. You could use them to do quick and rough cuts in realtime. I never used them, as I always captured in AVI2 format and worked in PPro. Anyway: This programs would come last.
Secondly I would install PPro, as this is needed to copy the Canopus plugins later on into the right foulder.
Than you can install the canopus dirver software and plugins. First you want to find out whether you have a Strom I or a Storm II, before you go to the Canopus download section and download the latest driver for Strom and Adone Permiere Pro 1.5.
last not least you can install the additional canopus software if you want.
This sequence of installation was as well erported to work fine:
– OS (Win XP)
-SP 2
– device drivers: Chipset,Grafic- card,Sound-card,Raidcontroller,LAN,Storm 2
-Premiere 1.5
-Premiere Plugin
-Storm 2 update
-Video out Plugin
-MPEG Craft LE (CD, s.o.)
-Procoder Express (CD)
-Mpeg Craft Update
– all remaining patches
Hope this helped.
cheers

Do I install this first, or does PPro go on first?
I also received a HighPoint ATA Raid Management Software to control my multiple hard drives for video capturing.
At what stage do I install the HighPoint?
