  • CS2 thumbnail preview in Windows explorer

WinXP explorer does not preview the thumbnail of Photoshop CS2. I know there is bridge – but often it is important to preview foulders without bridge.
    Is there any workaround availiable?

    thanks you

If you put a file named psicon.dll (get it from P_shop 7 or earlier, or search google and download it) into the following directory you will reenable .psd thumbnails. C:\program files\common files\adobe\shell

I’ll never understand why Adobe thought people wouldn’t want to be able to view .psd thumbnails in explorer. Really retarded in my opinion.

    Good luck.

Sorry to hear that. There must be a solution because I have CS2 and can view .psd thumbnails with explorer. Keep poking about.
