ONLY INSTALL THE ONE FOR YOUR OS.

Based on what you wrote, that would be 10.7.3.

Hi Chris,

Currently Resolve only supports the codec/container combinations listed in this PDF:

https://blackmagic-design.com/media/2588311/davinci_resolve_8.2_supported_codec_list.pdf

While DVCPRO-HD is a supported codec it is not supported in an MXF container. Only in MOV. And AVCIntra, isn’t supported in any container, and will require transcoding to something like ProRes or DNxHD.

Resolve does not have a “Log & Transfer” function… that is only in FCP.

One question the overclocked 680 is that compared to an overclocked 580 or a stock 580?

So for windows you HAVE TO HAVE an NVidia GPU? No OpenCL… but on mac it will revert to OpenCL for none NVidia hardware?

XDCAM HD in resolve is only supported in MOV container. Need to transcode to DNxHD for Resolve to see. Also need to double check you have tape names for all your media.

OFX plugs can use CUDA as well. Just depends on how they’re written. So we may see decent performance for some of them anyway.

Not directly in Resolve, but you can convert color in resolve. There are no sound capabilities in resolve as of right now, version 9 will add this.

As to dcp creation itself, I would do a search. This question has been asked and answered on the cow literally over a dozen times.

Cinema tools will rate change 24 to 23.976. The audio will no longer be sampled at 48khz however.
