Here is the problem:
Chipset Model: ATI Radeon HD 2600 ProThis card doesn’t support OpenCL, Resolve prefers CUDA for best performance and will fall back to OpenCL if CUDA is not available. But sadly your system supports neither CUDA nor OpenCL.

If you wanted to run the music at 1.5x speed and shoot fast so as to play back music at 100% with audio in sync, you needed to shot at 36fps if playback was intended for 24fps, or at 90fps if playback was intended at 60fps, or even 45fps if playback was intended at 30fps… None of those numbers fit what you shot. To shoot off speed music sync like you seemed to intend the audio playback speed shouldnt be 150%, it should have been either 250% if the intended frame rate was 24fps and the acquisition rate was 60fps. Or just 200% if the intended framerate was 30.
Bottom line is, best quality solution is to reshoot, alternatively use a motion compensated slowmo effect, such as pixel motion in ae or Optical flow in motion/fcpx or twixtor or the like, can’t guarantee good results as the effect is dependent on content. Any quick slowmo is going to either blend frames (what you are calling ghosting is frame blending meant to smooth the motion) or stutter. I’d strongly recommend reshooting, if you do the math right you’ll get a really nice looking effect.

If you’re getting three of them I don’t think the performance hit will be huge between the 580s and 680s as with that many devices you start to run into a bandwidth bottle neck on performance.

Give the database a new name when you go to restore it, lets call it “Mikes_Restore”. After restoring the old database, you should see “Mikes_Restore” on the list of available databases, select that and connect to it. You can now delete the other databases to avoid confusion. Hopefully that makes sense, and helps.

It’s not officially supported, but I have heard of people using it. I can’t vouch for whether it’s accurate or stable. Considering Resolve cost about $500K about 4 years ago, 900 bucks for an officially supported card doesn’t seem like very much.

It’s covered pretty well in the manual… but that is a good summation. All of this should be much, much easier in v9.
