Apple-d disable toggles current node. Option-d disable toggles all nodes. Shortcuts are now viewable in the menu and the menu is searchable in Mac os x.

To me the mdb drag or ALE is more inline with the kinds of workflows one normally sees for dailies. But full AAF would be nice too. Though I understand AAF is a tricky beast.

It’s based on the timecode.one hour is 00806400 frames from 00:00:00:00. Just set your TC to start at 00:00:00:00 in the delivery room.

Have you tried dragging the database file from your avid_media folder in to an avid bin to populate it with media? Does that also not have sound? Wondering if it’s a media issue or a AAF issue? Also you did check the box to export audio correct? You’re seeing A1 A2 etc files?

It used to be in many cases resolve wouldn’t even run on a system unless it had a dedicated gpu. Particularly on the windows side. Now with v9 this is greatly improved. So you can get away with a single card given reduced performance.

As to the 590. It would probably be more power and less performance than a single 580. It’s look at the 680 4gb or 570 2.5gb if the 580 is cost prohibitive.

Which card is your monitor connected to? The GUI card should follow whichever card your GUI is on. No monitors should be connected to the other cards.

There are lots of dependant libraries installed along with resolve. All you’re saving there is the GUI… but much of the works is installed outside of the app file. So that’s probably a really bad idea.

Yep. Scopes work off gpu, will greatly hinder performance. Best to use external scopes. The gpu you’re using is also fairly weak.
